Kangasala location is ideal for a Data Center. It´s located in the vicinity of the South Finland financial, educational, ICT and logistical centre Tampere. The area is well known for innovative spirit and investments looking into the future. Area is also very well connected internationally. Tampere-Pirkkala Airport also makes international flight contacts possible directly or via Helsinki-Vantaa and Stockholm International Airport making it possible to visit the site comfortably. The climate is ideal for air cooling and a multitude of lakes provide more than enough of make up water water for the cooling towers if decided to be used at the site. The local municipalities provide support and advice in making the investment as fluent as possible. Extensive network of educational institutes provide skillful and motivated staff members in adequate numbers.
