Hollola Data Center Site
Hollola Data Center site is located relatively close to major cities in southern Finland; Helsinki (100 km), Lahti (12 km) and Tampere (120 km). The logistics will be even much better after couple of years when the new southern ring road will connect Helsinki - Lahti highway (road nr. 4) to Lahti-Tampere highway. The new ring road access will be only few hundrets of meters from the site. The site locates in real logistical hub.
Outstanding benefit for Hollola DC site is that it is ready for construction; already levelled area on very stable soil material.
Hollola has one contact point who helps DC operators in every possible issue i.e. building permits and what is required to build a new DC. Qualified personnel and companies available for construction, engineering, maintenance and operation.
The site itself will be easy to connect electrical power net with reduntancy connections. The power is expandable when required. Connectivity is top class and has diverse routes possibilities for every main traffic directions. DC site will be connected to local district heating net and DC will have possibility to sell its excess heat for nets use.
The region has excellent possibilities for good schooling and social life for non-Finnish staff members.
The area itself is very stable and has no natural risks. It offers multible choises to sport and cultural activities; hiking in pure nature, skiing, swimming halls, golf courses, theaters and concert hall close on region.

Arrangement of connection diversity
- Connectivity perspective Hollola DC area is on very good position. There is tree different direction possible to be connected easily (Tampere, Lahti and Helsinki)
- The DC is located just next to operators backhaul fibers between Riihimäki and Lahti. On very short distance Lahti-Tampere backhaul fibers are also available.
- There is lot of options on telco operators who could be connected to DC
- Elisa, TeliaSonera, Cinia, Teknomeria, FNE and DNA has backbone connectivity to the area

Notes on fiber connectivity
Available connectivity services:
- Transparent wavelength services 1G to 100G with different interfaces
- MPLS-Services L3-VPN, IP-Transit and Ethernet services
How to be connected:
- Existing fiber routes are close to planned DC area so the cabling will not require any investment from DC
