Our value proposition
SemiQon’s technology builds upon decades of know-how from the semiconductor industry, making its silicon-based quantum processors commercially competitive and well-suited for mass-manufacturing. Speed of development is SemiQon's forte.
SemiQon's monolithically integrated quantum processors will be mass-manufacturable, which enables reduction of dimension and costs of quantum computers.
SemiQon's processors operate at higher temperature (temperature of space) compared to other solutions, providing additional benefits in performance and costs.
Our offering
SemiQon manufactures scalable quantum computing processors from silicon. We manufacture the processor chips in our fabrication facilities in Otaniemi in Espoo, Finland. We also have a dedicated state-of-the-art laboratory for testing and experimenting on our chips in Espoo. We ship manufactured chips to our partners and customers who are interested in building full-scale quantum computers with those chips.
About Semiqon Technologies Oy
SemiQon is a spin-off from VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland and started operations in 2023 based on 1.9M€ pre-seed funding. SemiQon intends to scale-up the capacity of quantum processors to enable real-life problems to be solved using quantum computers. Speed of development is key to our success.
